E-way Bill Validity Extended for Monsoon Season

E-way Bill की Validity को Monsoon Season के दौरान बढ़ा दिया गया है, जिससे व्यापारियों और Transport Sector को काफी राहत मिलने वाली है। Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) और GSTN द्वारा जारी Circulars के मुताबिक, लगातार Heavy Rainfall, Floods और खराब Road Conditions की वजह से Goods की Movement में बाधा आ रही थी। इसी कारण Government ने निर्णय लिया कि Monsoon Season में ewaybill validity को extend किया जाएगा ताकि कारोबार बिना किसी major interruption के चलता रहे। इससे Logistics और Transport Companies को काफी support मिलेगा, क्योंकि Rainy Season में अक्सर Delivery Delays और High Transit Time की समस्या होती है।

Official sources के अनुसार, validity extension का फैसला multiple States की requests और industry representations के बाद लिया गया है। Monsoon में Road Closure, Landslide और Water Logging जैसी समस्याएं prevalent होती हैं, जिससे E-way Bill expiration की वजह से unnecessary Penalty और Detention charges लग सकते थे। Updated Circulars में clear किया गया है कि monsoon specific extension rules लागू होंगे, खासकर उन Areas में जो Rainfall prone हैं। इससे businesses को बेहतर GST compliance और hassle-free supply chain maintain करने में मदद मिलेगी।

Monsoon Season में e-waybill validity extension से जुड़े नए निर्देशों के मुताबिक, जिन Routes पर Transportation प्रभावित है, वहाँ additional validity automatically लागू होगी। CBIC ने बताया कि transporter या supplier को system पर कोई अलग application करने की जरूरत नहीं होगी, बल्कि system-generated e-waybill validity itself extend होगी, especially for rain-affected regions. इससे Rain Impact और Goods Detention जैसी problems से traders को relief मिलेगा। Updated notifications में बताया गया है कि Rainfall prone States जैसे Maharashtra, Gujarat, Assam और Kerala में इस facility का ज्यादा फायदा होगा।
